According to the PHOTON component price index, component prices on the German spot market rose last week. Last week, the average price of monocrystalline silicon components in the spot market increased by 10.9% from 0.64 euros (0.86 US dollars) to 0.71 euros (0.96 US dollars) per watt. The average price of polysilicon components rose by 10.3%, from 0.58 euros to 0.64 euros per watt. Module prices from China also increased by 3.4%, from 0.58 euros to 0.60 euros per watt. All three categories have shown a long-term upward trend in the past six months. The prices of monocrystalline silicon and polysilicon components have stabilized, with prices of 0.68 euros and 0.61 euros half a year ago. Only the price of components imported from China rose by 1.8% in the past six months, from 0.57 euros per watt to 0.58 euros per watt.
