Shandong Qingzhou First Carbon Fiber Wire Transmission Lines

On January 16, the first JRLX/T carbon fiber composite conductor in Weifang City, Shandong Province, was operated in Qingzhou City, marking the first successful use of JRLX/T carbon fiber composite wire in the 35kV power grid in Weifang.

With the continuous increase of power demand in the Yushan Economic Development Area in the west of Qingzhou City, the 35kV Pupu Line has not been able to meet the requirements of transmission capacity. To solve this bottleneck, Qingzhou Company introduced high-tech products--JRLX/T carbon fiber composite wires. The transmission capacity is greatly improved without changing the existing line path. The JRLX/T carbon fiber composite conductor is constructed for 4.017 km and the wire diameter is JRLX/T-185/28. The wire can be allowed to have a maximum voltage rating of 35 kV. The transportation load is as high as 53.5MW, energy-efficient double-capacity transmission has been achieved, and a safe, environmentally-friendly, energy-efficient power transmission network has been successfully constructed.

The application of JRLX/T carbon fiber composite wires plays a decisive role in the development of Qingzhou Power and is a major leap in the development of Qingzhou Electric Power.
